If their ticket does not happen to be usually expensive compared to some other decent airlines, i would always recommend people to fly with Qatar Airways.

I took my first ever international flight with them back in 2016. Since then I have flown around 3 times with them, including during this pandemic. Every time the experience has been smooth in all regards, be it in flight service, ease of booking, baggage, food etc. The crew is extra nice, the food served tastes good and served in good portion size. The highlight of flying with QR is also the Hamad International Airport. Have not seen any cleaner and well served airport than this. The staff at airport is also good. Transit experience is also comfortable as the airport is huge (less crowded), lot of spaces for relaxing, good (window) shopping options. Toilets are well maintained and cleaned. Seating places have charging points all over.

Few downsides however i must mention - the 787 Dreamliner seating is simply uncomfortable. The 777s have better seat pitch and comfort. Have not flown aboard A350s but heard good reviews about it. Another thing is usually they are priced higher than other airlines often who dont provide the same level of service but not worse by any means. I would fly always QR if it was in an acceptable price range (doesnt have to be cheapest) compared to some other carriers.

My experience was great with Qatar airways. I booked business class to Bangkok. the best business class of aviation industry. large legroom, very comfortable seats and friendly staff the way cabin crew welcomed me so well. I highly recommend Qatar airways business class

Had a flight Singapore-Doha-Berlin in Dec. 19. Was perfect! The cabin crew was very attentive throughout the long flight, offering water and orange juice often. Good selection of movies was available.
